“How We Got Bitten By the Jeepster Bug” We’ve always been intrigued by the Jeepster. Our son, Chad, found a completely restored Jeepster in Alaska. Curt said that there was no way that we were going to drive to Alaska to get a Jeepster. Chad continued to look on the internet and located one in New Paris, Ohio. We made arrangements to drive to Ohio to meet Bob Crane and look at the Jeepster. A few blocks away from the address, Curt said to let him do all of the negotiating and to not act too excited about the car. Well the minute we walked into the garage I couldn’t contain myself and said “Oh my gosh! I have to have it!” So much for Curt’s negotiations. After promising not to turn the Jeepster into a hotrod, Mr. Crane felt that we were worthy of owning the Jeepster. We just happened to have the trailer with us, so we hauled “her” home. April 12, 2002 – Our 27th wedding anniversary. It was a 2 ½ year process restoring “Faye.” With a lot of help from friends and family we got her back on the road.
NOW: Curt & Debbie will host the SPRING 2009 WOJC Jeepster Meet at the Studebaker Museum at Dowagiac, Michigan. Set the date now for June 12-14, 2009!

Cape Cod Canal makes Cape Cod an Island attached to the mainland by two highway bridges and a Railroad bridge built in the 1930's. The Canal lets ships travel up the coast from New York through 'Buzzards Bay' and up to Boston without going out and around the 'Cape' and what was known as the BONEYARD OF THE ATLANTIC... the sight of hundreds or wrecks up until the invention of modern communication and navigation equipment.
